CXC Global (CXC New Zealand) review: contractor management and EOR in New Zealand
A Sydney-founded contractor-management group operating since 1992, with two New Zealand limited companies on the register since 2010 and a New Zealand EOR guide that names the right obligations. We verified the entities and scored the service on our eight criteria: solid corporate compliance machinery, run from Sydney, with no New Zealand office or price.
Built for enterprises managing contractor workforces, not for a company making its first New Zealand hire.
CXC started in Sydney in 1992 as Consultant's Exchange, a vehicle for IT contractors, and is now a privately owned group run by Peter Oreb, Ingrid Webber and Darren Morris, with roughly 180 permanent staff and 12,000 contingent workers across Australia and New Zealand by its own modern-slavery filing. Its strengths are enterprise ones: worker classification, right-to-work and background checks under the CXC Comply banner, a Salesforce-based client platform, and integrations with the Fieldglass and Beeline vendor-management systems that large procurement teams use. Its New Zealand presence is two long-standing companies, a serviced-office address in the PwC Tower and a New Zealand hiring guide that correctly lists PAYE, ACC earner's levy, payday filing, KiwiSaver and ESCT, although it never names the Holidays Act. There is no New Zealand phone, office or named staff member on its site, no pricing, and the only reviews are from employees and contractors, who rate it modestly. If you run a hundred contractors through a VMS and twelve of them are in Auckland, CXC fits. If you are hiring one employee, it is the wrong tool.
Choose CXC Global if you are an enterprise or MSP already managing contingent workers through Fieldglass or Beeline and need New Zealand contractors classified, checked and paid under the same programme. Look elsewhere if you want a published price, a New Zealand-based contact, a documented Holidays Act process or an EOR sized for a handful of direct employees.
